Panaeolus cinctulus does something similar, forming psuedosclerotia. Bruises very blue.

They look too large to be merely pseudosclerotia, they look like true sclerotia to me, I guess there's only one way to find out.

I read that you fruited like your galindoi, Using coffee chaff. I also read that you were having mold issues the with chaff? Did you ultimately use the chaff in your substrate? Perhaps that was the down fall?

Weird contam, reminds me of the mouse-pelt fungi from the one dish. I actually think it quietly piggy-backed on the myc. Could have been the chaff too. I have the totes set aside in the basement to see if I can get just 1 pin for cloning.

Forgot about this thread... I got new P. subtropicalis culture going on agar recently, and have what appears to be clean grain culture going. I will start another thread and link it here when I get it going.
