In N Out Burger

Anthony Bourdain kept talking about how fast food sucks but the in N out burger is an exception. I’ve always wanted to try it but I’ve never got a chance to visit the states. How good is this burger and what makes it different from a whopper or a Big Mac?

It's not really good.

Maybe the quality is better in their off hours though cause so many people go.

Doesn't take much to find a burger that is better than a whopper or big mac. That's pretty much the lowest denominator next to gas station burgers.

In N Out is good. Nothing you couldn't get from a diner that cooks greasy burgers made with ground beef instead of pre-formed frozen patties though. What makes it different from Burger King is really just that they make a standard burger instead of a shitty fast food one.

ive had many good experiences with In n Out in Sacramento CA and Los Angeles, CA, but the one in Sparks, NV sucked lol.

i dont ever go for fast food.. usually only when im leaving a concert and im starving and drunk haha

It’s pretty funny that you expected fresh ingredients to include the moldings of a veggie burger when they only sell meat burgers

I looove in n out and they are better than any and every burger place bar none.  That’s why whenever I go to In n Out there’s an hour long wait and Burger King or McDonald’s/Wendy’s has no wait because they suck ass.

The burger is more like a homemade burger. Its quite unique. Its all in the ingredients and how prepped.

The fries are pretty dank as well.

Never understood the hype, same with 5 guys, it's like people have never had a real good burger before and somehow this slightly less shitty fast food style burger is supposed to be amazing?

I thought tomato was a fruit ? She asked for a veggie burger which is exactly what she got... Why did she complain in the first place ? You don't go to a burger joint to eat vegetables smdh

5 guys is insane. They seem to represent this trend of "semi" fast food where the quality is vastly superior to traditional fast food, but you don't get seated and waited on like a traditional restaurant. 5 guys is a bit expensive, but a nice middle ground between fast food and a traditional sit down.

This all reminds me of Dairy Queen. Real burgers and such, almost feels like it's not fast food but it is. Dairy Queen has good burgers. Not much else though aside from ice cream and fancy cakes.

I've never had it.

Whataburger is the best I've had. Only get to eat it when I go to Texas though. Wendy's and BK have decent burgers. Five Guy's is pretty fire but pricey as stated. And I didn't know they had them in Cananda!

But what about Good Burger! Exceptional service.

Although, if I'd been in your shoes I would've been upset too....but I also wouldn't have asked for something that wasn't on the menu (especially a veggie burger) at a place like In N Out. That'd be kinda like goin' into a vegan restaurant, and askin' them to make you a steak.

Fast food is gross.
I'll only order a burger at eateries where the meat is good enough that they ask how you want it cooked.
If they're serving meat that's unsafe to consume medium rare, I don't want any.

I was with my friends seeing Bassnectar in on Arizona for Global Dance and everyone really wanted to go.
I assumed they didn’t have veggie burgers but I figure s it couldn’t hurt to ask, so I did, and they told me they had them.
If not a sandwich, atleast they sold me a story.

The only time I was in the US (like 14 years ago) I went to a burger restaurant chain called "Applebee's".
It was good. Got a fat burger held together by a skewer. :thumbup:

Don't know if it's still seen as "fast food" restaurant, though. We sat at a table and orderd à la carte. Better than any McDonald's or Burger King for sure.

I read it on a secret menu website and decided to try it, it was delicious, I like mcdonalds so much im going to save up $600 and eat only mcdonalds everyday for a month, preferably when they have coupons out ill just print out like a zillion 241 bigmac coupons, im going to lose weight doing it because im going to count calories and do OneMealADay or OMAD as we like to call it, ill only drink diet soda though if I do get a meal deal, im really looking forward to this but I have to do it in the summer as I cant walk it in the winter and dont drive, but its going to be so rad maybe the people working there will gossip about me only eating mcdonalds ill be like a mini celebrity

Yeah theres several five guys locations across Durham Region now. Some people claim to really fucking hate it but it is without a doubt my favourite fast food burger. I just order "all the way" toppings, you'll know what I mean if you go to try it out.

The other place I really liked in Canada was Licks but I don't even think they exist anymore. Maybe a couple stores left here or there but it basically went out of business. Used to be one in Whitby where I grew up. You ever try licks?
