Hi all,
I’m new to growing so bought a couple kits to try it all out (I know kits aren’t the best way but hey). I have a heat mat at 23degrees C and give my mushies loads of love. Can anyone tell me why they are only growing on one side of the kit? It’s the same for both of them Thank yooouu <3 Xxx

Looks to me like there’s a big gap between the tub and the substrate. They’re growing from there because that little area has better conditions, ie humidity, surface moisture, etc, than the substrate surface.
Someone more experienced may be able to help you on what to do from here, I’m still learning.
Nice lookin cubes though!

Ive always heard after u harvest, fill the gaps in the sides with coco coir. Obviously hydrated, a little on the dry side tho. Make damn sure its not too wet if u do that.

I did this with a monotub because it shrunk so much after the first flush, worked out well for me. I added 1/4” on top too as a casing layer.
