Well, these guys really grew fast. I think they're ready to be picked I read somewhere that you pick them when the skirt separates from the gills. I'm also curious how I do a second flush. My spawn is WBS and my sup in pasteurized H poo. No case

Pick them all and water between the sub and tub. Not too much though, just as much as it will suck up.

Some people just mist it super heavy for a second flush.

Pour lots of water in the tub so the substrate is halfway floating of at least covered and pour everything off after 8-12h. That's how I like to do it for the second flush.

So, why bother saying "why bother"? it is what it is. The purpose is to experiment with procedures that venture outside the norm, is it necessary for growing mushrooms? Big nope. Is it fucking cool to think and experiment? Resounding yes.

Like mist the top of the cake and the walls of the tube? Is regular tap water ok? Why shouldn't I just pick the big ones and wait for the small ones to grow bigger?

No harm in that
Can't say it's always practical or necessary but I do it often on late flushes when there are fewer fruits.

I personally would wait until tomorrow to pick those but its a preference thing... After harvesting I fill my tub up with water and place something on top of the sub, then place the lid on to submerge it in the water. I wait about 12 hours then drain the excess water and place back into fruiting conditions.
