hey everyone from ohio, has anybody started hunting yet, its been a mixed up spring here, one day its nice the next its below freezing however it has given me time to do my research and now i can't wait to go out lookin, i was wonderin if anyone knows of some spots around the erie/lorain county area, i've heard of some but i'm afraid to ask permision to look around, or do farmers really not mind us goin through there pastures, anyway any tips would be much appreciated, go pan subbs go!

i want hunting last week
too cold.

but this week looks to be a good one for morels grey/black then 3 weeks from now we should be seeing the giant yellows.

hey herbajerba what region of Ohio do you live in by chane?The reason I am asking this is because I live in Kentucky and Pan Subbs arent listed in my state(here on the shroomery states and mushrooms page thingy)and I think they should be because I have found Pan Subbs here before.
Anyways,good luck on your findings and keep me updated so I can go check my cow pastures for Pan Subbs here in a few days if it rains.
Also,what kind of substrate are your Pan Subbs growing on?Horse manure/hay?cow manure?
