How to travel around with mushrooms for several months ?

Hi ,
just wondering if any of you guys know what the best way is to store mushrooms ( apart from keeping them in honey because I tried that once and it was way too messy and too heavy) while on a long term trip around several countries of the world. I am not scared of anyone finding them I am just wondering how I can preserve most of the beneficial power of my mushrooms while on the road and having them exposed to different temperatures and humidity levels.
Thank you for any useful Ideas on that :-)

Just properly dehydrate them (cracker dry) and keep them in bags or jars

Grind them to a powder once fully dry, and put that into capsules. Store with silica packs in an airtight box suitable for pills/medication. Some guy here on the forum walked the full Pacific Crest Trail dosing on Shrooms using capsules https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22471747 Edit: too late...

The most important thing is to keep them dry. So store them in an airtight container with a silica packet.

Dude I've had some stored for years. Cracker dry, vacuum sealed with a desiccant and o2 absorber.

If you have access to refrigeration, you can make tea and freeze it

Perfect, thanks for your help I think I will just keep them in vaccum sealed bags that are dark and don´t let in any uv light, rather than grinding them. correct me if I am wrong but I think once they are ground the surface is bigger and any oxygen that hits their surface while packing and unpacking could already potentially bring down the power so I think for now to dry and vacuum seal is the best option.

Once they're dry oxygen doesn't really matter anymore. Same reason your house does not require stainless steel screws and nails.ive tripped on shrooms found years later in a tackle box in a garage in a Ziploc bag

I've eaten an eighth that had been in a brown paper bag in the kitchen cabinet for over a year and a half. Still felt as potent as when they were first dried. Dry them good and you should be fine.
