Personally I'm so happy I got a FH. Its way better for my back and everything. I used to have to get really close to see properly even through pretty clear plastic. After 2 hours or so my back would ache. Have a good chair and a good surface, and its stopped once I got the FH.
My FH was already built so I cant comment too much as it has a Drayton blower. I really dont see why a large inline fan 6"+ with a plug nob like thiswouldnt work.

Thanks for that.
I've been using the glove box and it's great but certainly does get difficult at times so I feel like the flow hood would improve productivity. Contams were actually low for me when I got in the swing of it. It's more for time, I just didn't think it cost so much for a fan.

Can any recommend a good box to make a SAB? Ideally 110-120L.
Found this but would love a box you could clamp shut (like some of the airtight ones)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wham-110-lt-Plastic-Storage/dp/B004RFXAEC/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_201_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NKVQTWE2BZ5BD2VDTPXS
Like this but I reckon this would be a little on the small side.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000O1IN68/ref=psdc_3313446031_t1_B002YOU5KA

it doesn't need to be airtight, just nice and clear and roomy enough to do the job you need to do. check out big supermarkets and the range and places like that
i got mine from IKEA but TBH it's a bit small, could do with more headroom for G2G, but whaddyagunnado?

Yeah you dont need it to be air tight, spray the walls with soapy water, make large arm holes very important youd think holes just big enough would be better but they aint. Small arm holes mean as your pushing your arms in it causes a piston effect pump dirty air around the SAB spreading contams, large arm holes keeps the air still as it should in a still air box, this can be demonstrated with smoke or even vape smoke blow it in then put your arms in, if all the smoke pumps around, your arm holes are too small. Also important dont put your sab lid on as a base when using it, you want a damp clean towel or likei use kitchen roll/tissue. This gives better purchase/grip and also allows floating contams somewhere to settle and get stuck so cant be blown around, it took many failed agar attempts in the beginning for me to figure out this was a vector for contams plus i kept knocking shit over and it would slide about on the lid.

Do you know what that's probably my contamination problem. I've got 5" holes in mine and I should probably make em 6". Especially after rewatch of bods Video. His holes compared to his arms are huge. So I need to get my holes bigger and some agar sorted.

Sterilise some water drip it in warm not hot then see if it does anything, once moisturized take a section to new plate see if itll grow out. Its a long shot though.

I got a hardly use presto 23 like this for under £150 all in. You can sort out tax and handling beforehand. One of the guys here helped me understand it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Presto-01781-23-quart-Pressure-Canner-and-Cooker/13025471397?iid=192418943998&chn=ps

Whole oats and verm casing, casing is very important for ape keeps the moisture level steady makes it the best possible surface microclimate, i did a small pf tek trial aswell but PE varieties require a hell of a lot water and pf cakes simply struggle too much to produce a good flush. It can be done but the results are usually poor i got 3 small shrooms from 2 cakes. The oats in a mono however flushed 4 times before i got bored and binned it.
       Pictures from different flushes.
