 Marijuana Strain Question

I'm going to be living in New England this summer, and was interested in maybe trying my hand at some marijuana horticulture. I've been to Seeds Direct (through Overgrow.com) but I'm at a loss as to what strain to choose.
I'm looking for a plant that gives good yields (around 300 grams and above), harvests early (around August if possible) and has good/great THC content. I know that's a lot to ask, but I figure if I could find anyone would know the different strains it would be here.

BOG (BushyOldGrower) genetics are very prime. High
yielding and extremely resinous. Then again, all the big
name vendors have good genetics, which is why they have
big names 
If BOG's aren't suiting your fancy, I've also heard great
things about the Sensi and Paradise Seed breeders. I wish I
lived in a place I could grow .. stupid ludicrous laws 
Anyways, happy growing 
Here's a macro shot through a 20x jewler's loupe that I took
at my friend's farm in B.C., Canada. Though not entirely
legal there, the laws are a lot more relaxed and the person I
know hasn't had any problems ... yet 
The strain is Bogglegum:
I hope to god I can get a medical marijuana card one of
these days so I can start growing on my own time. Just
visiting the wonderfully smelling grow room and seeing all
those sparkly plants is enough to convince me I need to start
my own operation when I can do so safely. It's either that, or
I'm moving to my own island

As far as good THC content? Try AK-47, Of course purple haze? and BLACKBERRy ah yes, dont forget that.

There is a retailer on Emery's site selling Cherry Bomb and a few other smashing sativas for $50/10 beans. Its a new company but you should be able to find it with the keyword Cherry bomb. THC percent means nothing unless it is based on a constant wattage or location grown. Environmental factors including UV intensity will also affect THC percentages
Point: More expensive seeds do not mean they are better.
It is better to get a plant you think will satisfy your desire for a high (indica/sativa) and breed it within your own control to create your perfect product. Outdoor, location will cause huge strain differences when grown, so get a strain and give it a few generations to adapt to your climate and then you will have the best smoke you could imagine.
Since you seem focused more on output and early finish, get a pure indica or ruderalis mix to properly time your harvest. Sativas can take over 12 weeks to finish flowering and don't have as great of yields (but oh...the high   )

Since you are looking for a plants that has an early harvest, and is really potent, and has at least a 300 gram yeild, go with anystrain that is 75% indica and 25% sativa.The 75% indica in the plant will provide you with the early harvest and the potentcy, but since pure indicas dont yeild nearly as much as sativa's you need some sativa gene's in ur strain to you can get the 300 grams of bud from the plant. I suggest going to www.emeryseeds.com and buying your seeds, Marc Emery has the widest selection of seeds on the whole internet and you will probably find what you are looking for there. I think I'm going to go with Paradise Seeds, Belladonna. But there's no mention of yield in the description, so does anyone have any experience with this strain?

Ya dude, the AK is some damn good shit. Hell High Times dubbed it the strain of the year. But I have been hearin some really nice things from our local sensi growers. Sensi Star gives a damn good yeild and matures in about 3 months. If money is not the issue, then I would go with the AK. After all Hight Times knoes their shit.

Dude, go sativa. If you are going to grow your own, don't get the usual ho-hum weed. Get some asian tropical paradise bud, sativa. A sativa leaning hybrid will give an early enough harvest. It is my dream to grow a haze someday.

it all depends on if you want to grow indoors or outdoors?, hydro or soil? some classic high yielding strains with good genetics are chronic, big buds, northern light, super silver haze, el nino, shit, ak47, white widow and so on. i personally grow northern lights x haze

I second the super silver haze and the ak47. I tasted champaign before and that was nice. I also samapled NycDiezal/hash plant and Strawberry cough.
I new some one had herb cuz when he walked in every one turned and looked at him. He then pullz the stuff out and blazed us up with it. Good stuff definetly.
