SG-FC Ultrasonic humidifier, a PC fan and a HEPA Air filter
    #25625595 - 11/19/18 03:22 PM (6 years, 1 month ago)

Someone who isn't me wants to grow some cubes. They have a H.E.P.A. air filter in their closet on the top shelf and they use a Ultrasonic humidifier in the SG-FC. I know that fans are usually a no go with the SG-FC; however, the Air filer is well above the chamber with a shelf separating them where they would be growing in. On top of that they want to use a low powered computer fan as an exhaust for the humidifier, to spread the water vapor throughout the SG-FC on top of that spraying the cakes 3 times daily. Since they will have the humidifier will the PC fan and air filter pose a threat to drying the
cakes? Could this actually make the fruits smaller?
P.S. they will be spraying the walls of the closet with bleach or alcohol to avoid mold growth inside the closet in the high humidity, but with the very low ambient humidity in the house and state it should disperse faster than you might think
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a re-post.
Is keeping the air filter inside the closet a bad idea? Yes means it should be just out side the door.

Would having this much air flow in a 90%-100% humility environment be enough to make the fruits smaller?

The whole thing is a bad idea. And no one uses swim
Don't make it so complicated. No need for an air filter or humidifier to grow cakes. Don't spray your closet with bleach dude.

With SGFC a fan is overkill. Just mist and fan.
