Multiple flushes on coir?
    #25624286 - 11/18/18 10:37 PM (6 years, 1 month ago)

Hey guys, following this old tek loosely: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11916595
Made 7 tinfoil lasagna trays and they have started pinning finally. Anyone else use only coir/verm and did you get multiple flushes? I'm hearing that its usually a one flush wonder... Also, will they need to be rehydrated between? Used to doing the newbie pf tek where I could just dunk. Trying something different.. Thanks.

You should be able to get at least two flushes before your nutrients (grains) run out.
You can rehydrate the substrate the same way you did with your cakes, just dunk them for some hours and put it back to fruiting.

Thinking I'll pour water in the tray until the sub is covered and then pour it out next day.

Yep that should work great.
I try to put mine in the fridge too, seems to help it soak (might be placebo)

Thank you, I'll give that a try! Is the tray pictured here overly dry from the look of it? Had to rearrange some things so the space heater wasn't directly blasting anything but I think this one took a bit too much heat from it...

It has the weakest pins. All the others have 2x-3x more.
