Hi,
Please help! My friend ordered spore print from the Free Spore Ring Spain (Espana) and now the US Postal International Research Group sent him a letter, stating that the SPAIN gov wants to know if she received the letter. THe letter had a fax number and said to reply within 7 days so they can let the Spain gov know. My friend has not answered anything, but is deathly afraid now. Please help. Is she in trouble?

Ignore it, tear it into a thousand pieces and then set it on fire. Seriously he got the spores, that's all that matters, never admit anything for any reason ever no matter what. Also if you live in an area where spores are illegal don't order them to the address where you grow illegal drugs (don't shit where you eat) My 2c

Sounds like they're doing a survey to ensure mail is being delivered properly. Your friend is probably just paranoid.

We want to explain why this happens. It is long to explain and I will use a translator. I hope you understand each other well. When a certified letter is requested to any country, the postman delivers it under signature to the recipient. In the United States, this is not the case. The letter leaves it in the mailbox. If the letter is delayed and the recipient asks us for the letter, we are the ones who place a claim. The Spanish postal service contacts the United States postal service and checks the status of the letter. As they do not ask for a signature on the delivery, they consult by letter to the recipient if they have received it. We believe that they do it on behalf of the Spanish government to give it importance, but in reality it is a consultation of the postal service requested by us. For shipments to the United States, we recommend regular shipments. They are cheaper and do not give problems. The Postal Service in the United States works very well and the letters arrive without problems.
If a certified letter is requested and a query is received about it, no case should be made. There is no major problem or anything to do with the content.
