Contam?

First time grow here.
Did BRF jars PC Golden T spores, colonized and consolidated for about a month. Shredded 1:1 to a cooked CV sub. 2 quarts spawn, 2 quarts sub. Total 4 quarts, split into two shoeboxes. About a half inch casing layer was put on.
Let recolonize for about 2 weeks, then put in fruiting conditions by opening boxes and putting plastic bags with vent holes over the boxes.
In another thread when I first started to get pins, someone told me the box was going to trich out. This was about a week ago, no green yet. One box has side (and bottom!!!) pins (now fruits). Being inexperienced I am a bit worried. The top of both looks grey. You can see in one there is a corner that is white with the rest gray, but pins and fruits are coming up, and in one box look pretty healthy, in the other they have white 'flecks' on them.
These pics were taken over a few days so you can see the growth. They did dry out some (too much fan/FAE) so I misted a bit and bottom watered a touch, but the existing colors/growth were already there.
No off smells, just smells earthy/mushroomy to me.
So, does this look like a contam? Is it safe? I fruited one of my cakes without shredding to bulk and they were good, I ate a couple grams last weekend, but I worry about the safety of these.
Thanks!

Looks fine to me. I don't even think it looks dry.

Probably because I bottom wattered a little. Glad they look good to you? Any second opinions?
Just want to learn and make sure!

It looks pretty unhealthy to me man, but still no visible molds. I'd try to at leasf get those pins to grow before it maybe contams, and start a new project asap if you want even more mushies

Hi Mad Season, what makes you say it looks unhealthy? I thought it looked fine to me, but then I'm not all that experienced. Would like to learn more, so that's why I'm asking why you say it looks unhealthy. Thanks in advance

The morphology of it. It's very weak looking. Dry, greying in the middle, cottage cheese looking excessive cottony growth in the corners, etc. If op had a large contam spore load, like at my place, it would be contamed out by now. Thus, why I suggested he try to at least get this flush. If it contams out, that would be pretty shitty to have that happen to your grow room. If he got a flush before then, and/or isolated it right now, it wouldn't blow a bunch of spores in his grow room when it inevitability molds out, and hed get some mushies to hold him over til his next jars pop .

Good info man. Thanks.
Fortunately, I have a couple hepas and an ozone generator, so I can clean a room pretty good (I hope) if I have a contam spore explosion. Also the place is older and damp, so there are likely tons of spores here already.
Frankly I am surprised how well I have done on my first grow. Also I do not have a permanent room/area for it yet, but I should soon.

Yeah keeping a room clean will prevent molds from germinating on weakened myc. If you have a huge spore load, you need to produce myc that isn't weak lol. In my case I've chosen to be hella anal about my mycelium, and thus I can still grow in a contam riddled environment. Prevention is IMO the best option for new people who don't need to rely on being hella anal.
