Things like Marmite
    #25618231 - 11/16/18 08:48 AM (5 years, 4 months ago)

Do you know this stuff?

What other things can you think of that polarise people so?

What things do you find people either love or hate, with little in between?

--------------------
Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

I tried vegemite with high hopes that were immediately and irreparably dashed as soon as it hit my tongue.

I vastly prefer Vegimite.

What things divide humans like this though?

Politics.

Pretty much any yes or no issue.

Whether the dress is blue or gold.

Yanny or Laurel.

Ballerina spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Religion.

La'croix sparkling water.

IV heroin usage.

Playstation vs Xbox.

All consoles vs PC.

Bird scooters.

I find most people that strongly dislike vegemite either taste it straigth or spread it like peanut butter. All it takes is a scrape. One jar lasts me a year.

Last week my son’s preschool teacher sent home this little booklet that has just some personal facts about all of the kids in his class.  One little girl’s favorite food is apparently a “toast sandwich”.  I guess that’s a piece of toast between two slices of bread?  Yeast extract could be a condiment in it.
