Grain+coffee soak water agar ?

I haven't attempted it yet but I've been looking into different methods of agar prep and the one that seemed most economical to me was to use the water from a grain soak. Now my question is , How well would it work if you added coffee into the water you use to soak your grains ? I know alot of different kinds of fungus like coffee so would this be more risk than its worth ? Just looking for some opinions on this before I try it out.

Stick with the grain water, you don't need coffee, you'll just end up with contamination:thumbup:

How do you feel about soaking your grains in 50 % coffee 50% water ?

There is no benefit, only downside..Learn to get some good grows following a basic grain tek to the letter first, then experiment:thumbup:

So would the idea for grain soak agar transfer well for Oats ?
Could I use Whole Oats instead of grain ?

Is there a grain water tek? Do you just use the water after cooking the grains? When I did that it was way to nutritious.
