coir Verm ratio

I can't seem to find ratios for coir + Vermont when the coir is already hydrated.
I'm also conflicted about whether to use Vermont at all.
Finally have some of the spawn stuff figured out but don't want to screw up when I put it with substrate.
I'm about to pasteurize because my coir has been sitting for a few months and am also wondering if I should much to field capacity first or afterwards but it's obviously dependent on whether I use Vermont keep not.
Thanks, I know these are sort of fundamental burning process is out of order so I'm just gun shy about assumptions

50/50. I usually eyeball it.
You dont even need verm. Straight coir works well also

nah. more like 80/20. Where do you get 50/50? From the username damion5050? That is unrelated to the tek.
A brick of coir is about 8qts, the bucket tek calls for 2qts verm.
I'm confused how you are confused, just follow the bucket tek?
You always make it field capacity before pasturization. You need to research more....

No, ive always eye balled about 50/50 with dry coir by volume. When wet its prolly about 80/20 due to the coir expanding.
Sorry, i diddent realize ive been dping it wrong all this time....

Eyeballing it is a bad idea for a noob, I wouldn't suggest that when their are teks with clear instructions on proper ratios.
That's cool, honest mistakes happen
