1st 3 tubs for clones

Working on quickly getting some clones to reduce the time and get some 90qt monos going.

But these are the 1st 3 going into fruiting. Day 3.






How are they looking?
The myc is sure reaching for the sky, so cool to see. 

The water droplets seems to be a tad big on the myc....

I read that cubes dont need a casing layer and I dont want to do that much work. I put the tubs into a 90qt monotub and dialed the tub in per this tek https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17332777. Looks like I am getting a lot of FAE 

I have condensation on the walls and dry rings around the poly so I figure it is getting enough

Also I am experimenting with my other tubs on a 2" 3" and 4" substrate level see what the differences are in terms of speed and pins.

Pins started showing on the B+, got some nice clusters going. Mmm cant wait to clone.

other two are notting up for pins as well. The Middle B+ and right side is PE, always taking longer.

They are getting bigger, Misting still and also Missed a day of using the lid to fan the tubs. Bit of myc on the mushroom stem.

I don't know what to tell you, thousands use that Upload feature.

Fiddle with it and you will probably figure it out. Might have to take the pic again. I do it all on my phone.

Looks good, no harm is taking a clear pic not through plastic.

Looks a little dry, a casing wouldn't hurt. Over all good, from what's visable.

Those images have location data attatched to them, fyi. Uploads here don't.

Incase you don't want people being able to find where these pics where taken.

They look good but as far as your sub depth test, you have no control to get accurate results. Unless you've cloned a monoculture then your results will still be variable even amongst same sub depth

and not only that but its MS and 6 different strains. I just want to get a general idea until i get those clones and sector them out and fruit.

Did you mix the strains or keep em separate? Regardles of sub depth your spawn ratio and surface area are going to be key to speed and pin count respectively..

hahaha no I didnt mix them together :P gave me a good laugh. 6 diff strains between 30 trays. Just wanted to get speedy growth for clones for my 90qt mono tubs.

All of it is a 1:1 ratio 2qt spawn to 2 qt sub for most of them.

Sub consists of
-Verm 10%
-Straw 40%
-Aged Hpoo 40%
-CoCo Coir 10%
-%5 gypsum

skipped adding coffe grounds or chicken manure

I think with hpoo your pinset will come in great regardless of spawn ratio as you used an immediately available nutrient source other than spawn. 1:1 is a good idea still because getting the myc established is very important to the health and longevity of the run. I wouldn't go over 3 inches of sub as it's really just wasting at that point :shrug: 4 inches is the thickest id ever have it and thats with a fat casing

Yeah, I want it to be healthy but not to nutritious so it grows a Lil quicker. Wondering if I can get 3 flushes out of it.

Should I remove the top polyfil for better FAE? Its looking good but I like pretty looking fruits.

Just relax everyone with holes in there tub fruits with polyfil. I'm not sure why you think your mushrooms would be prettier if you remove it, they'd most likely dry out, crack, and be ugly from the low humidity of it was removed.
