Wheats cool

I cook my grains till they are Al dente then strain and steam dry till all moisture is gone from  the outside  of the grains.

the idea about long soaks is that youre activating the endospores and ultimately killing them all at once, atleast thats how I remember the explanation was...

But the bacteria end up making way more spores than if u just hydrated then sterilized.

Im fuckiiing nuts, this endospore bs thing will save me HOURS AND HOURS OF WAITING...  I do long soaks hahahaha well thats also because im such a cheap guy and i wanna lessen my gas stove use. sometimes, i even fire the pot of grains on the stove for a short while and then put the pot under the sun to continue heating up hhahahaha

Heat to a simmer then let cool with top on, stir an maybe reheat once more(oats are soft as shit) than let cool, but stir!

whole oats is the only grains i roll with. theyre pretty clean and i dont wash em even though they come from a feeds supply store.
