Sons of anarchy had horrible ending too. The whole series was pretty good, but the ending. The fucking end...

I want to watch that.  I read that it is made by some of the same folks who made Parks and Recreation, and I like Natasha Lyonne.  Still trying to get through the final season of ASOUE, then I’ll start it up.  Do you like it?

Yeah it's decent. I find the lead actress plays a very similar character in a lot of things (feisty NYC broad), but she is good at doing that character. And the diverging possibilities thing is done well without the repetition getting too annoying. Bandersnatch would have been better done this way IMO. Each time through the loop is its own performance for the most part. Bandersnatch reused footage too much and I think that is part of what killed the feel that the main character was really experiencing this stuff.

Conversations with a Killer:  The Ted Bundy Tapes

I’m only 3 episodes in but so far it’s been great.  I thought I knew the major plot lines of his story and it turns out I didn’t know shit.  I wonder how much quicker he would’ve been captured had his murders taken place in modern times using modern technologies.

I’m nearly through this series too, and I spent a while wondering the exact same thing.  The part where he escapes for the second time and they pick him up in Tallahassee and had absolutely no clue who he was for a while blew my mind.  These days they’d know in minutes.  And the fact that he was able to get away just by jumping out of a window when he was in an unattended court room.  Crazy.

Good series though, very interesting case study.  It’s fascinating how they could only get him to talk about the murders in the third person, like he believed he hadn’t done it and couldn’t physically bring himself to talk about it as though he had.  That’s made doubly interesting by the fact that he obviously was proud of his killings and relished hearing about it all.  Hella narcissism, but also like compartmentalized personalities.  And at one point he implies that he had over 100 victims, but there’s obviously a lot of lying and false bravado going on with Ted Bundy.

On a lighter note, I saw that Netflix added ‘Swiss Army Man’.  If you’re looking for something kinda uplifting, quirky, and very original, I’d recommend it.  Despite being pretty silly, it actually has a fairly strong message about how humans connect and the affects of self-acceptance (or lack thereof).  Really cool movie with great acting.

This was recommended to me, I'll have to check it out. I've been streaming the "Murder Mountain" show-thing. It's obvious that they try to paint a shitty picture of Humboldt.

Not a bad watch though, and to be honest, it isn't going to stop me from trimming there this year.

I'm watching some of the old Trailer Park Boys episodes now.

Watched the new Conan Obrien series. He goes to different countries and annoys people. It was pretty OK.

Anybody watch "Hiking with Kevin"? Most episodes are really good. Kevin Nealon goes hiking with other comedians and famous people. They film the hike and kevin makes a lot of jokes.

Bandersnatch was ok and that type of movie has a lot of potential they missed out on. I didn't like that it had "wrong" choices if you know what I mean. Like when you chose them they make you start over and you have to pick the other option so it isn't even a choice.

No doubt today they would have nabbed him earlier... fingerprints were manual, no fax, just a phone.  Bundy was top 10 Fbi most wanted..... they only had to remeber fuckin 10 people.... but that was too much for them.  It’s sad.

I probably look into these things more than most because I have this fantasy of hunting one of these humans and putting them in the fuckin freezer..  look at Richard Ramirez interviews, he speaks in third person too.  It’s so they can brag and relive the situation without self convicting.  The appeals are what keep them alive,,,stretch out the appeals.

Watch the point in the court room where Bundy himself cross examines the florida cop first in the sorority house... watch Bundy’s behavior when he’s doing that.  It seems so obvious, he looney tunes a disguise like bugs bunny when he has to stand in the line up?  They say he was exceptionally smart, maybe, but I see it more as shit game on the part of the authorities.  In my eyes Bundy was uncomfortably akward, second hand embarassment type of akward.  Ever see some give a speech and have a panic attack, next thing you know you’re having a little bit of one?  Akwardly clumsey...

Hell of a story though.  I question some of the accuracies because in that docu they say his parents were part of the “have nots” whereas I’ve read before he came from a pretty wealthy set of parents.  I don’t know which is right.

I can also use confirmed facts to build a pretty solid case that he was a CIA operative.:fuckyeah:  It would explain why a random arrestee would receive television attention like “who is this ya’ll?” when his face is distinct and has been posted on bulletin board on the top 10 most wanted list as well as been on tv for all the previous heat.. just can’t figure out who this man is, hella conundrum.

Anyways, good series.  I’ve watched it twice so far..
