ewwww... the only mushies I can tolerate are the special kind. Otherwise I really don't like them in my food. Except this one mushrooms soup that a cook I worked with used to make... for some reason I loved that soup.

The trick for most of them is to dry sautee before using in anything else. Otherwise many types get slimy, like chantrelles.

They surely aren't hallucinogenic. But, I tell you what, I haven't been getting my fix of morels and I have been having some CRAZEY dreams.

ahahaha, I've had my share of morel dreams this year too

I dunno about being hallucinogenic, but after you spend a day out in the woods finding them when you close your eyes all you see are morels :wink:
