Thank you all for the info.

I thought maybe they were drying out. They have produced 4 flushes each, just not many shrooms per flush. I have gone up to misting 4-5 times a day. I mist the cakes every time and mist the hell out of the perlite once a day. I think I may have made to many holes in the chamber causing it to dry out faster.

In the next few days I will be adding 3 more cakes to it, but those 2 will be coming out soon as well.

As to your suggestion about misting the sides, I read where RR said that was not necessary so I do mist the cakes. I mist the hell out of them tho, but regardless of how much I mist within 3-4 hours the chamber walls are dry and the cakes are close to dry.

DON'T worry about the chamber walls. BASED on MY experience, you can mist the fuck out of cakes, just make sure that when you DO mist, that they are not all soggy from previous misting's.

SOMETHING that isn't talked about a whole lot is when to rehydrate your perlite. By that I mean a BIG hydration. I found that sticking the tub in the shower every 2-3 weeks, and letting the shower run on it for 20 min, then let drip dry, well it really helped. YES misting the perlite does add some moisture but not enough long term. Also holes should be on a 2 inch spacing, with 6+ inches of perlite. YES 6 inch, this is VERY important for the passive effect that the SGFC creates when working right.

Thanks man. That is a great suggestion. I hadn't considered the shower, I will do that for sure.
