I'm excited to announce a revolutionary beginner-friendly Tek, 0% chance of contamination and grown as cheaply and as inconspicuous as possible.
Let me know what you think of the mycelial growth.

Looks like it will take awhile to fully colonize.

Its been growing at about 1 cm/2 days. germination of spores took a bit longer than expected but the spores were old. Substrate was more compressed, maybe adding verm would increase FAE?

Are you willing to write up your hypothesis and tek for us to review?

There's no such thing as 0% chance of contamination. Especially if you're using a syringe.
But I'm willing to hear you out on your idea. What's the tek?

FAE is the constant exchange of fresh air into a terrarium or fruiting area.
For filtered jars we use the term gas exchange. Verm will fluff up your sub a little. If the jars start to stall as they the mycelium get's closer to the bottom we will know if it's packed too tight.
Are those pint jars?

Yep sorry, too stoned lol
not pint jars, the idea with this tek is to distribute the substrate to small 250ml jars, we can throw away contaminated jars (contams are very rare with this method), il make a complete tek once I get a few flushes.

this tek involves the sterilization of bacteria and competing fungi in the culture/spore syringe without sterilizing the spores/mycelium

not a temperature, but one key element is cheap chemical(s) that are able to kill bacteria and competing mold spores, but somehow mushroom spores survive and germinate

Hmmmmmmm....using chemicals sounds sketchy! But I'm still intrigued haha.
You'll definitely have to update when you write an official tek...if you plan too

Mushrooms are like sponges, they soak up everything available in the spawn or substrate. I wouldn't eat any fungi that has been grown in chemical laden sub or spawn. Could make you very sick.
What's up with your lids? Look very sloppy, and loose fitting. Is foil your only lid? If so, very surprised all jars aren't contaminated.
