 Tips for making cyan patch from wild patch  1

Hey guys, just found my first cyans in a park yesterday, there isn't a ton of them and was wondering if you could help point me in the right direction for how to possibly start my own patch. Do not have a ton to start with, but was able to get some mycelium. Seen a couple people start with cardboard, is that the way to go to increase mycelium?

This is what I've seen for ease of making a cyan patch. If it's gonna be an outdoor patch I feel like going through the effort of getting into agar would be a steeper learning curve than the cardboard route

I type the directions out every time because it's so easy.
1: get a cyanescens mushroom.
2: take a chunk of it and wedge it between two pieces wet cardboard. I'm not a fan of stem butts personally. I like a chunk from the inner core better.
3: keep cardboard wet.
4: after cardboard is colonized tear it up and mix the pieces with wet wood chips (as much as you want)
5: when wood chips are colonized expand it into more woodchips.
6: make 10,000,000 cyanescens beds around the world because you just followed all the steps to do that.
