Mycelium or cobweb mold? Advice please?

Hi guys!!
I'm after a bit of help and guidance if possible... I've got 2 tubs of b+ going. But I believe they may have become contaminated. Im not sure, this is my first time. So I was wondering if someone, could take a look and let me know their opinions...?

Just a few pics of the "offending" tubs haha!
Thanks in advance guys!

Thats not cobweb mold, if it was it would come off the substrate a lot more and be more fuzzy looking. If it smells like fresh mushrooms you're probably fine.

You got some very dense mycelium there and it looks a little saturated. Maybe leave the lid off for a couple hours to dry it a bit.
Nvm. It doesnt look as bad in the other pictures. Just leave it be and make sure its getting plenty of fresh air.

Wow! Thanks for the quick replies there!
This has made me a happy chappy! I was starting to panic. Didn't want my last months work to go down the drain!
I'll be leaving the lid cracked today for a few hours while I at work. See if drying it out makes it better!
Thanks for the advice guys! It really is appreciated! I'll be doing a write up on my first grow once it's done. Im keep a log my end, even if it does go wrong!
Edit: yes it does smell very much like a freshly opened tub of mushrooms!! Mmmmm! I love the smell!

Cobweb will have dark almost little black balls on the ends of their strings.. Some reason i dont notice the black parts on strawberries but it is easy to notice in a jar.

Oh my God! Thanks guys! I so glad your saying what your saying! I really was panicking! Well I've noticed that this evening when I got in from work. That I'm getting a lot more little, more solid looking, denser white bit popping up... Is this what's referred to as knots? I'll take some pics and post them. Obviously I've had the lid cracked pretty much all day too...

Well as promised. More pics!! Things are looking good! Thank you everyone that replied!!

Also, I've got this tub set up... Problem is, I can't get hold of perlite at the moment. Is there anything else I can use in the bottom to keep up humidity? As it's dry in there at the moment. And can't see this being that successful...

Just mist the WALLS of the tub the tubs are in, not like every day but enough to keep it humid in there, really no need for perlite, but people are opinionated so to each his own.

I'm guessing the perlite is so you can set it and leave it? A lazy grow! Haha! Funnily enough, that's what I've done this morning. Just to see how the tub reacts. Im hoping I'll have enough fae... Suppose only time will tell!
Also, very first pic above,I do believe, just off from the middle, is my first pin developing I may be wrong though!

I'm sure someone has already said something but misting is strictly for the substrate. The humidity that matters is the humidity at the surface.
We're trying to recreate the process of rain and evaporation.
When it rains it rains everywhere, not just on the walls. Mist your sub directly OP.
but only when it looks dry.

So if I just lift the lid, and give a light misting, making sure it gets the surface of what the pics show above, and the walls of the tub, I'll be good?
I'm sure I've read, misting the mycelium and pins, can abort the pins?

That's a different species. Panaelous Cyanescens has been known to be sensetive to direct misting. So foggers work really well with them.

Mrs is going to hate you within 6 months of your first harvest. You’ll end up taking an entire room, a spare fridge, and running a dehydrator until your whole block smells of dried mushrooms.
Maybe a little excessive there, but damn this hobby is addictive. I cultivated about 10 years ago. Grew up, and came back with a vengeance.

hard to say i had one that was 12 days total from spawn to tripping balls the other was like 30 maybe longer and both looked like that after just the first few days... but in the end they both fruited and went fine. mega pins on all sides on the longer one.
