How thoroughly do the cops search for drugs, if they have a warrant for example?

This is a question I would have thought would be very easy to find an answer to, but UTFSEing has yielded nothing...

I've decided to stop growing shrooms, since I have enough for the forseeable future, so I would like to go all the way and get rid of/hide all of the seriously illegal items I have.

Quite simply, I would like to reach the point where, should the Police somehow obtain a search warrant, they would find nothing illegal other than some kratom and hash.

I am not planning to throw away all of my precious drugs, so the only option is to hide them...

But how?
How hard do they actually search?

For example, one idea I had was to put all of my shroom powder into shroom chocolates, pour them into a mould that looks like some commercially available chocolates (not just random shaped home-made-looking ones), wrap them up, and seal them in a box, just like they are Hershey's or something!

Would it work, or would the Police open sealed packets of chocolates, unwrap them, and then do drugs tests on the chocolate inside?

Getting kind of farcical here, but I really do not know.

As for hiding other stuff; Small quantities could easily be hidden in walls, behind wallpaper, etc...

Any suggestions?

It all depends some are more thorough than others. When I was younger and got raided they where too busy ripping the doors off my closet to find a pile of pills under my dresser all they would have done was pull out the bottom drawer. And when they left they left behind half of what they found stuff that was 100% illegal. But they purposefully busted a grow light that I wasn't using. But the likelyhood of you just randomly having your house searched is quite slim. Is it a thought that bothers you when you trip? You would have to do something to get their attention. Like be selling drugs, be ordering large amounts of drugs through the mail, or be having large parties where the police might be called, or having domestic problems that result in them being called. If you just keep to yourself and do your own thing the police aren't just going to show up one day with a warrant atleast in America.Although I have thought about removing a section of floor in the back of my closet and placing a safe in the floor that can be covered with carpet. But that's more so if my family comes over I have a place to hid things.

well when they were doing search in my house, at that time I was growing shrooms. And they literally didin't find them in my room.. I thanked the shroom spirits for that because I would be out for years, because of my countries stupid laws. Still im under probation now:D However you can hide them somewhere outside, thats the safest place:D

This sounds weird and I wouldn't be surprised if nobody believed it but the police once came to my old house because of a shouting match I had with my ex.

I had 4 monotubs right in the middle of my  living room and a whole shelving unit of bags of grain in various states of colonisation and many LC jars.

They stood there and talked to me while another one nosed around looking at my glovebox and a myriad of other random shrooms shit.

I thought I was done for sure.
They never mentioned it and left.
I broke up with that bitch and left the next week.

I still can't figure out if they didn't know or just didn't care.

But yeah it doesn't take much to hide a shopping bag load of drugs, I would just leave it with a trusted friend or just put it at the bottom of a box of old curtains in the attic.

depends... in my country they will go as far as to tear your matress if they dont find anything more at hand reach, but they only do that if someone snitches

Not generally but they will go through and smash stuff, rip doors off hinges, pull draws out and just make a huge mess for fun if they want to. Atleast in America

A warrant has to specify what they are looking for and where they can look.

Yeah but it can be as vague as looking for "drugs" in your "home" or "dwelling" so although they have to specify the what and where it can be so vague as to encompass your whole house and car or place of business.

Yes, but it can include an entire address and all buildings thereon, and if it specifies controlled substances, they can look anywhere such substances can be hidden.  In other words, anywhere.

Having said that, the time and manpower it takes to do such a raid makes them rare.  Most search warrants are served very simply and without too much digging.

They usually miss a lot and they don't really care.  As long as they find something, it looks good on paper.

The usually just handcuff you and keep you in one spot.
Occasionally taunting you.

They will even go in your septic tank if they hear you flushing.

Waterproof ammo cans.
They sell the seals and i suggest replacing them if they are used.

There are some waterproof rocket tubes that also work great but i cant recall the name.

The buried safe is a good idea.

Vacuum seal.

They generally detain you outside of the house while they search.

Police also aren't always the smartest people.  When I was 21, the police entered my apartment, based on the smell of "burnt marijuana"..anyways, long story short, they found what they came for, and missed 2 sheets of LSD I had stored in the freezer at the time.  The thing is, I had each sheet individually wrapped in alum. foil and inside a large mason jar...as soon as you opened the freezer you saw it...couldn't miss it..but somehow they did...meanwhile, they tore apart cereal boxes. lol

Burying is good, but humidity is your biggest issue. Stuff should all be vac sealed with desiccant packs in an air tight waterproof container with desiccant packs in that as well.
