You mean as in broken?
Had a shipment from China once come in with not 1 sleeve still closed. Also out of 15-ish sleeves there was only 1 or 2 without any broken ones. They were packed sterile into very thin sleeves and then all crammed together so all the plastic sleeves ripped, probably right as they were packing it. Ever try getting customer service from a Chinese company?

Sounds like that customer service would cause more stress than just eating the loss. I would be pissed as fuck. Did they refund you or send a new case?

Is it best to keep your grain in a sealed container after you open the bag?

I just roll the bag over, push out the air, and stick it down.

Working with bags in a sab is tricky and since I don’t massage or shake these bags around after I pour spawn into them I wanted to get the spawn to the center of these blocks faster so I’m trying a Turkey baster

Plastic icing scraper for leveling off shoeboxes. Works well to lay it flat while pressing down softly to help pack the sub. For those that are ocd about level subs

I’d seal that bag of grain up in a tote or bucket or twist up the top as tight as you can get it. I’ve had infestations of bugs from a bag sealed up in a bucket before but that’s just me

OPP40 bags are pressure cooker safe, no melting or distorting. Similar stuff to oven bags.

Search Glass Top Bins on Amazon. Useful for no-pour agar dishes.

Picked this up online on clearance for $3 shipped. I thought It'd make a cool harvesting knife, and for $3 why not. This thing is a lot bigger than I thought.

Plastic autoclaveable beakers with handles. Guess who's not using media bottles for agar anymore...

Doubt it...
Commercial mushroom farms use them for their plates...
That's where I got the idea...

With petris, the only thing there is to lose is a sleeve of petris
Commercial farms make it work. The lot kid will runnit no problemo.
