Possibly cobweb mold or just mycelium?
    #25596057 - 11/06/18 12:31 PM (6 years, 2 months ago)

Hi All,

Was hoping you could help me identify these white puffy areas. I’m a noob and having trouble distinguishing whether this is normal mycelium behavior. The substrate has been in the tub for 27 days so it’s taking a little longer than I have read, but am starting to worry about this fluff in the corners and at the base of these pins. Thanks so much in advance for any advice on either being on or removing the contamination!

Fluffy mycelium by the looks of things..you might want to up the FAE slightly, have you been misting? You need evaporation to promote pinning

I have not been misting. Up until recently there has been decent condensation on the walls of the tub. Should I start misting regularly now that this has developed? Thanks!

Maybe I should pull some polyfill if it’s too tightly packed in this monotub?

The growth in the middle means the conditions on the surface are correct, but around the edges less so..Follow the How to dial in your monotubs like a Boss link in my sig
