Side pin help

Hello everyone. I have a good amount of side pin action and was wondering if it is smart to cut out a cube where the corners are and flip it to where the pins are on top. Good idea?

It might be a better idea to take those out of that container and put them in a large one so the sides can fruit like they want to.

Is that just a shoebox? Easy. One of these holds 3 cakes that size.
