Spawned 4 days ago. Any chance it will peoduce anything?

People said my jars didn't look good, but I spawned this jar before asking for advice and figured why not anyways and would have with a jar even though it was advised against spawning any of these. I was told I probably have a bacterial problem in the jars, but I am hoping it was just agressive growth. A couple jars I feel less sure about, but I feel it was a different not necessarily good look that I am leaving in the jars to see what happens. But I am a beginner and have no clue what I am really doing.

If the jar was bacterial it may stall or produce a smaller flush; a lot of people won't mess with them for those reasons.

That said, lookin' good!

Any idea how long I should expect pins? I am ok with a small flush. Any is better than none and I find I learn the most when things screw up so I am ok with some failure.

You can probably expect full colonization in the next few days then knotting and pins in a week or so after that.

Pics are not great. The second pic should show at least 10 or 20 more but they blurred and are pretty small just poking up through since they started down slightly lower it looks.

Is that straw? I've understood straw to have antibiotic properties. If so then bacterial spawn that fully colonized ought to work well.

Nice. 

The surface looks a bit on the wet side; be sure to allow for evaporation between mistings.  Other than that looks good!

90% straw, 10% manure. Seems to be doing just fine. I just picked up straw on clearance a couple days ago so that is good to hear!

I haven't misted it once yet. Should I uncover for a while besides its few light daily fans?
