My first successful grow!...bunk :( no potency. Hopes for a second flush?

I just had my first successful grow which in itself I’m extremly proud of and thankful to all you shroomers. However after harvesting I immediately put them in my dehydrator dried them cracker Dry and ate 6 grams of golden teachers. No effects really. Very small amount of visuals, body feeling etc.. they were grown from multispore which I know is a crapshoot of genes. My question is could the second flush be potent? Or should I trash the tub and start over? Possible to clone to agar and then sector and somehow make them potent? Or full on restart?

Keep letting them flush out. Even they arent as potent as you hope you'll still have a decent amount to play with. I'd also try eating some fresh and see if it's different, sometimes drying them a tad too hot will make them lose a little potency. I always judge potency with fresh specimens

I'm hoping I had this problem and it isn't me.

My first grow was my first time with the mushrooms/psychedelics. 13g dry had me writing.

I'll know soon enough I guess

Are you using a translator? I have NO idea what that means. And your oysters need WAYYYYYY more FAE. They look oysters from a bag I thought was contaminating and just let grow sealed. 2micron patch on it.

Sorry, I've been in quite a weird mood the last few days. The grain jars look pretty wet too. The oysters need A LOT of fresh air. Enough that is what makes them difficult (for me) to cultivate.  Constant battle of fresh air and humidity needs. Their need for fresh air makes cubes easier to grow IMO.

That's a mammoth dose.  If you are using SSRI's, they will block out the psilocybin somehow.  LSD too and I don't know what else.

Did u get the spores from a reputable vendor?? Once I was trying to save a little bit of money and went to a vendor online that is not a sponsor of the shroomery. After I grew the mushrooms they weren't even cubes!!! They looked like a cube but didn't bruise blueish purple and did nothing to me no matter how many I ate :frown: my friend tried them also and they were bunk :frown: ill never make that mistake again!

His looked like cubes. I've grown cubes that don't bruise much and they still work... well

His looked like cubes, and were cubes. I've grown cubes that don't bruise much and they still work... well


Mine looked exactly like cubes too u would never know besides the bruising part but all 4 syringes that I got from that vendor did the same thing :frown: Ill never go to a non reputable vendor again! Just a suggestion tho ... If he felt anything off them ur probably right i didn't feel anything off mine

No I don’t take any medication. I know ahaha I love mushrooms and tripping hard. 5 grams of fire penis envy is a great experience. Can’t get those any more tho haha. Trying my hand at growing.

When was the last time you ate before you dosed? Sounds like a full colon to me.

Definitely theres your problem, your stomach may be empty but not your colon were the goodies enter. Give it et least 6 an drink water to help digestion (should be done anyways) an flush your belly out.
Wait till your good and hungry, drink with a glass of juice. I like pretzels or goldfish to cover the taste and texture.

You can do tea to! Fresh or dried(i like wet:awesanta:) Just bring to a calm boil before putting anything in it and HAVE a strainer ready.
You can condense tea into a thick shot if you want, the actives will be more than fine i prooooomise so dont overload it trying to make sure you'll get there.



It should look something like that^ but not as frothy since theres maybe a couple oz dry but lbs fresh, i really prefer fresh for tea:shroomeryhead:

Id step your dose down to like 3-4, just cause theyre normal cubes doesnt mean they cant/wont rock you. Ive had a 1.5 trip me tf out lol.


Cheap weed amplifies it for me(good weed doesnt work the same but its still good), a zan or joint is good to have handy but preroll it you might not be able to later:lol:

I guess I’ll try again and make sure to fast before and let you guys know what happens. Fingers crossed it’s because I ate. Just never had that problem before and I’ve eaten a good bit of mushrooms in the past.
