I just tripped for the first time yesterday... so I ahve a few random questions.
1. How long should I wait at the least till my next trip so that I don't build up a tolerance?
2. My hand became rashy with raised, light red, sparse, large spots for about two hours, five hours after ingesting the mushrooms. Is this a problem?
3. I got bad nausea during the early part of the trip, maybe 20 or 30 minutes after ingesting and tried to stick my fingers down my throat. Are their any herbs I can take to stop this happening again?
4. Is it okay to do some skunk or hash before and during ingesting the mushrooms?

1. one week for tolerance, one month for a good trip (it will lose it's fun if you do it every week), just wait until you feel it's calling you to do it again.
2. never heard of this, possiibly just looked like a rash 'cause you were tripping?
3. benaydrl is good for nausea (don't take too much though, it's psychoactive in it's self), also maybe Ginger? I heard thats good for your stomach and stuff, also weed is great for nausea, however...
4. it takes the edge off, does'nt cancel the shrooms but it dumbs it down, if you found shrooms to be too intense than weed just help you out there.

For the stomach pain i would do what jcocke said, go to your local health food store get some ginger root and make some tea out of it. This is waht i always use wheni have the flu to make me feel better. I never feel sick when i take mushrooms, i must just be lucky

1. 2 weeks or more...
2. You could of had an reaction with the mushrooms you ate.
3. You can make Oj with the mushrooms all chopped up. Also if you choose to eat them make sure you chew them up really small to avoid nausea.
4. Smoke the most you possibly can

Thanks for the help so far! I thinking I'm going to wait about 11 or 12 days, since that's a good time for me and is in between 1 and 2 weeks. I'll look out for some ginger root too... seriously, I didn't reckon on the nausea being that strong, but I really wanted to gag, which was bad for the trip.
The rash appeared after the trip was over... it could be because I had urine on my hand for some reason when I got back to semi-reality after being totally out of my head...  sawwie... but it seems unlikely.

You build up a tolerance immediately after consuming, there is no avoiding it. Wait at least a week for tolerance to go down. Two weeks is much better.

Donno. Was it causal (did the mushrooms contribute), or some other random event?

Nope, there are no herbs that I know of can stop you from sticking your finger down your throat. Perhaps some papaya extract (GNC) a few minutes before eating the shrooms will help with your upset belly. Avoid moving around a lot and make sure the fruit isn't contaminated.

Yes. It tends to increase the strength of the trip and helps mellow out the come down.

I think the shrooms must have caused the rash. I didn't eat anything strange that day... I didn't eat mush at all.
There were a few spots up my arms and my face seemed a bit spottier and of a redder complexion (I'm not very spotty and I am pale).
I'll try and look out for both tummy remedies. Thanks.
offtopic, I just realised that the Yellow Submarine Soundtrack Album must be great to trip to. I was listening to Black Sabbath and it was too heavy to handle... then I had the stupid idea of putting some Death Metal on... Deicide... ouch.

I was just a bit anxious, because me and my friend are doing 20 grams each soon, and I thought that would cause greater effects. As long as I'm not going to have a bad allergic reaction, I'm okay.

For me weed does not dumb down a mushroom trip, only makes it more strong.

Weed is cool when tripping. It's hard to discribe, it doesn't quite affect you in the normal "stoned" way, but you do feel a bit lighter and more detached, and a greater sense of non-sobriety . Moving around can be a bit more confusing, but you don't get the usual tiredness or occasional body load. It's good, try it. But pre-roll joints.
Something that people don't seem to mention but both me and my friend picked up on separately: the actual process of smoking is an absolute breeze when tripping. I usually find it a drag (literally!), but shrooms made it much more bearable. The analogy I drew at the time was that it seemed like I had this whole extra set of lungs for the smoke to enter, so I didn't have to worry about sucking down extra air to fill my lungs, or even blowing the smoke out again, it seemed to happen automatically. I would breathe naturally, see smoke coming out, and go "oh, that's right, it gets breathed out again". My friend must have found it even easier, because he said it was like the smoke went in through his mouth and straight out the back of his head. Happy days.
