Need help in identifying contamination (first grow)

Hi everyone,
It's the first time grow fruits using BRF-tek. Are these contaminations? They are present on 3 out of four of my cakes. They are very soft and spongy to touch. There are fruits growing on these cakes and they seem fine.. Should I toss away the cakes?

I know this was like 5 days ago, but here's my advice since no one else replied. I'd say it's probably some sort of bacterial issue, but as long as the cakes are producing and the fruits seem fine then you should be alright. Just keep an eye on it.

Thanks for replies So the cake from the first picture
finally started producing fruits, which I harvested (they looked fine).
This weird, fluffy thing, which I thought to be a contamination maybe was mycelium afterwards, because after I touched it it turned blue (same shade of blue as the cakes after harvesting). Now new pins start growing and they have very dark brown legs, also you can see a weird jelly-like substance on the second pic (on a small pin to the right):
Does this look normal to you? Also other cakes, which didn't show any signs of contamination before, now are fruiting and the fruits have brown spots all over their stems
Please let me know what you think

It could just be a case of too much water and not enough airflow causing overlay..have you got it in a chamber with enough holes or lid cracked? the base of that cake looks like it may have been sitting in a puddle? They should sit on foil with some pin holes in to allow any pooling water to drain through

I think you're right, it could be too much water. When I raised that cake up it was indeed sitting in the puddle.. The fruits look alright but they are like 95% water as opposed to 90% that I've read somewhere everywhere -- I suppose this is due to high humidity?
To make my SGFC I followed SpitballJedi's tek, so 1/4" holes on all 6 sides about 2" apart in a grid pattern. How can I actually check whether there is enough FAE? What's an indication of low FAE?

If you have low FAE you'll find evaporation is very slow for one..Your SGFC should be propped up off the floor with something, so the air can flow from the base upwards...Only mist when it looks dry, not on a schedule
