Need help injecting for colonization on specific sporeprints

Basically, my spore prints i ordered from the sporebank are unique in that they have paper folded over on itself and the sporeprint is inside, this might be apparent in all sporeprints, but im new to the shroom world. I was wondering what most people use as the basic procedure for getting the spores into the water for injection when the spores are folded into paper, fold the paper back with tweezers? soak the paper in water and shake it? Thanks in advance.

I would fold the paper back with tweezers or a clean hand, flame sterilise the need that was to be used for the spore syringe and use that to scrape spores from the paper into the water. Care should be taken with this method, however, in order to prevent the paper being ripped.

EDIT: of course, the needle must be cooled first by wiping with alcohol :P

i urge you to build a basic glove box to carry out that procedure.
making syringes from prints is one of the most critical areas as far as contams are concerned.
if you screw up at that stage then you are screwed totaly.
there are plenty of teks dealing with cheap to construct GB's

Or just use the oven tek as stated in Anno's link. My friend has used it for years with no problems. She also believes that flame sterilizing the needle is overkill, just wipe it with alcahol and you should be fine. Works for her at least.
