Check it out? (Pics)

I’m not exactly sure if I’m looking at a ton of aborts or just a really uneven Pinset. Tubs have been in fruit for about a week and a half. Looked like they were coming along great, now I’m thinking these are mostly aborts. Any thoughts are appreciated guys. It’s a coir/ verm sub. 6 quarts millet spawn per tub.
Took out the polyfill and cracked the lids for a few hours to try and freshen it up. No shortage of moisture in there.

The spots look to me like too much water. The uneven growth is probably just the MS genetics you used.

Agreed. Definitely going to let a lot of this moisture evaporate off. Hopefully most of these will mature.
This particular multi spore seems pretty off the wall. Even the spawn was way out of wack with my normal time line. And if you noticed how many of the mature fruits in those pictures are totally mutated!

Ive had issues like this with multi spore. Its a shame. I'd say if it's been that long...just pick em. Aborts can make for a crazy good time.

I have to agree I think a lot of those are going to abort from too much RH-not giving the opportunity to evaporate off. Give them some more FAE.

Cracked the lid for a few hours, let a lot of the moisture evaporate out. Hoping for the best. A real bummer, I was expecting a really great yield by the looks of the original Pinset. 😞

Really would like a few more opinions, if most of these are aborts or not.

IMO Millet is beautiful for G2G, but I've noticed the hard hull and tiny size creates a less than ideal substrate for fruiting.
I'm commenting on the mycelial structure only here and my experience observing it VS rye berry mycelium health after G2G from White Millet.
My god does the soft grain and manganese in Rye do something beautiful.
Rye Berry w/millet g2g(3 days), Millet spawn(22 days after innoc, abused and bruised a little not contam), millet spawn w/coir+verm(top half agitated because casing was annoyingly thick)

White millet + Coir + verm (3 days)

Some Gypsum used. Only using Verm because of the dense and frustrating structure of Millet. I hate verm.

Rye will definitely be my next project, I’ve been doing some research on it. Everyone’s rye spawn jars look so thick and hearty compared to any other spawn. In my opinion. Looks great man.

-Turns out the tubs were lacking fae. Way too much humidity seems to be what was slowing the growth. -The poly was pretty loose, with. Fan in the room. But it wasn’t enough. -The indications were extreme condensation on the walls, way more than normal. And after a week the water droplets on the sub itself didn’t go away, when normally they do. -my solution was to completely remove the lids for a couple hours, then leave them cracked three inches for another few hours. To the point almost all the moisture in the tubs were gone. -after re sealing the tubs with lids, normal humidity came back in just a couple of hours. -the following day the growth rate really picked up, back to what I expect to see.
I hope this helps if anybody runs into this issue, it’s my first time seeing this problem. Since the fix most of the larger fruits in the original pictures already popped their caps and have been harvested. Still a really uneven flush, due to the multispore. That doesn’t much bother me though

Damn i gotta stuff my tubs tight or they dry out. Your surface moisture looks real nice if you can up the fae i bet that would have exploded.
