Will other ferments in house contaminate?

Hello all! First post. Total newbie to growing mushrooms. I started one project and believe I have failed miserably at it. That's ok. Failure=lessons=learning=mastery. I'll ask questions specific to that project once I peruse the forums a bit more to see if I can find my errors.
My question here is this: Can you start mushrooms via liquid culture and PfTek (my terminology may not be quite right but I mean the brf verm jars)in the same room/household as other cultures and ferments? I culture/ferment veggies, pickles, peppers, kombucha, and kefir. Before I spend more money on trying to do shrooms, I'm wondering if all the organisms floating around my house from my ferments is a setup for failure with shrooms. TIA

I haven't had a problem. If you can keep your pickles contam free, you shouldn't have a problem with your shrooms.

Just practice sterile procedures and do anything you can to avoid cross-contamination
Have fans off, use a still air box for inoculation, etc

What Whiteveil said, with a SAB and good sterile technique your other projects should have no impact on the success you have growing mushrooms. On a side note you shouldn't go from a spore syringe directly to liquid culture as it will increase the chances that you'll have a contamination problem. If you plan on doing liquid culture you should start with a clean wedge of colonized agar.
