Man in the summer I had my SAB in an 80f room with no circulation. I was trying so hard not to mess up. I would DRIP with sweat!

Being in Europe and the lack of availability of tools as a result. We don't have anything fancy like Mason jars or the ziploc plastic containers unless you're willing to import them for 10x the cost. Unless you're ordering from mycology based websites, you'll find very little things to help your grow in your local supermarket. Most teks are written with US materials in mind, so a lot of it is sadly useless to me. We have no walmart or target. No karo, jiffy mix, or any US exclusive brands. The only thing I can do is try and find alternatives, but it's not always easy.
Big pressure cookers are ridiculously expensive because all the big ones are imported from the US. You're looking at 100€ for shipping alone. I'd have to cough up 280€ for a less than ideal 23qt presto. Back to my crappy little 6q PC which barely holds 2 quart jars. I'm considering bags since I can at least get those cheap on aliexpress.
Also, due to the legality of truffles and popular cubensis growkits being sold around here getting ahold of exotics is easier said than done. There's only one company that's selling a galindoi spore solution but they come in crappy vials (called SporeMate) that not only are a bitch to get out with your syringe because it creates an instant vacuum, but I also never got them to germinate and wasted money on 2 vials already. I wouldn't be surprised if it was foul play at this point so they can keep pushing their commercial sclerotia on people.
Of course, everything here can be overcome. But I have yet to have my first successful grow. Having to improvise all the time instead of just being able to follow an easy tek is discouraging to a newbie like me.

I feel ya, been there done that. Could def help you
I wouldn't say those difficulties are necessarily a bad thing, though. It's true they have the potential to become bad but only if you're a weak-willed person, or maybe don't like the hobby enough to aspire to much.
Those difficulties can make you quit or could also turn you into a complacent fag satisfied with mediocre results, like roughly 90% of European growers here.
Maybe those difficulties may seem unsurmountable to you now, but if you're able to use your wits to overcome every single little challenge that comes your way you'll look back one day and realize how much you have learned in the process and how little in the way of equipment is really needed to put out stellar grows or to produce as much as you want/need.
US growers are spoiled in that sense, they have everything they need for the hobby and easily, but is that really a good thing? I'm not at all sure. Success is always sweeter if you have had to fight and kick to get it, like you fuckin earned it and now is fuckin yours.

Trying to exercise the self control necessary to not spend all of my money on mycology equipment. I'm currently considering an electric 941 but may just build a DIY steamer instead.

Not being able to do any work/to grow. Otherwise prep to PC and babysit the thing. Fungus gnats can also make your heart bleed.

I seen my first two fungus gnats on Friday, I put a cup out with some apple cider vinegar and soap. I haven't seen them in a couple days. So I hope they are gone.

I just hate waiting! Im too impatient. I check my jars, my trays, and my tubs all the time and I get so disappointed on the days where I don't wake up to have fruits to harvest. I like to keep it at the point where I am harvesting almost every day. So anything that slows me down gets annoying. Luckily, I don't get contams very often so if I keep colonizing regularly I can harvest on the reg.

Getting decent pressure cookers in Europe. It's either tiny size or crap quality. I've managed to grab one of these last year, but they are out of stock everywhere. Fits 11 quart PP5 containers.

Not having enough hours in a fucking day!!!!
Daylight savings time my ass. I can only get so much done no matter what time sunrise was "officially".
Oh! DST is ending soon? Guess what?! Still only 24 hours in a fucking day!
I should drink another beer and take some thc infused deep breathes. That usually helps the old spleen.

Pouring plates. My SAB fogs up horribly so I overpour everything. My SAB bottom is curved so I have to try and move the stack around so it gets level, which it never is. Since I can't see, I never get an even pour and wind up with extra plates and shit. FML.

I haven't perfected my pour yet and a big part of that is not being level. I think the next round I'm going to try a cookie sheet in the bottom of my SAB then check with a handheld level. Haven't had issue with fog though.

You guys know you should be using your SAB upside down right? Fuck the lid. Fuck working on the unstable bottom.

That would be ideal but the top of my SAB is imperfect and the bottom is scratched up from use. Holding out for my flowhood build rather than make a new SAB.
