Having a system that runs your air through water is a good way to get dust out the air, basically a air vacuum peculator.

Not really, spraying plain water in your sab room real quick will cut down on immeaditly dust but it'll be back as soon as you open the door or moving around to much.

Its a very optional thing to do but pointless no.

You go spray a room then open a petri and watch what happens.

People working without a SAB or hood are just wrong. It doesn't matter what might help them. I'm not here to polish turds.

You gotta put it on... contamination lol...Point was, technique is sterile, not conditions ... why we use sab or laminar flow, and movement with these environments in mind

I'm fully aware of that, I think maybe I should have explained better. I was just curious what people's opinions were on lowering the amount of what's floating around using that instead of something like oust, of which I don't use either. I mean, even when not doing work in open air, you do reach out of the "safe zone". I feel like less dust floating around couldn't be a bad thing. ๐Ÿคท

Wait, you change your clothes? I know RR says he does in his videos, but I don't think its really that necessary. Clean gloves, ISO, and good tek. I do wear a surgical mask and a ball cap though.

Of course its nothing nothing to substitute a good sab and tek.
But if you can do something to cut down on ambient dust while you work an it only takes 2 secs why not?

I mean i dont but for some if it can help an only takes 2 secs why not?

I never said anything about not using a sab though thats just stupid.

This is the only proper way to work. Shower and brush your teeth. Do a quick pat down dry with a freshly laundered towel and go straight to work.

Although I do wear gloves.
