That's interesting. Did you figure out individual control over each eye to manually line them up? If that's what you mean that's really cool... I always had to close 1 eye but I was using duuuurty dex

I've noticed some people get super uncomfortable with the idea of their mind/being not being a single entity/phenomenon per se... interesting to see that's a thing and not just weird friends I've had.

I've always imaged what you described as being exactly what a skinwalker looking at you would be like.

And that's really smart with the eyes--warming them back up to how they operate. If I'm ever dissociated again I will try that but I'm more of a flonase guy these days

Basically what i do is stare wth one eye (can be either) force the other to align up, read along, then revetse order etc, to wake up the brain centers


I scared the crap out of my dad with my deep MXE gaze, he said it was hard, piercing,yet vacant, like a sociopathoic stare. I told him it actually was because most emotion centers were offline. it didnt ease his worry.

You don't know what its like when you are an advanced dissociatives user, you learn very much about the factual functioning of your brain and which parts of the experience are caused by psychology and spirit effects, and which by disruption oof neural transmission of which parts of your brain.

I would place myself on the spectrum, but not to a diagnosable degree, because I can activate and deactivate features associated with autism.

Dissociatives are anaesthetics, so what you are doing is shutting down neuronal transmission and processing from the outside world, so you progressively shut down to a high degree, including almost complete loss of function of senses just shy of full unconsciousness.

If you do those shutdowns while conscious though, your brain neuroplasticity SCRAMBLES for workarounds to give you back your hearing, sight, sense of touch, etc etc and this results in your brain actually getting a very powerful workout and strengthened neural paths.

Dissociatives are even used in Alzheimers because they boost the brain regeneration ability.

Psychedelics do this too, this is the main reason why people microdose.

Its like steroids for your central nervous system.

Whether you use psychedelics or dissociatives though, don't use more often than once every two weeks, even in microdoses, to give your brain a time to return to baseline and make the most of the growth boost.


"Kinda autistic" and I vibe well with people who are, generally, because I'm so easygoing in RL, they know that if they act out inappropriately I won't make a problem of it and only chime them in if it helps them. It puts them at ease, and thats what you need when you aee not neurotypical. I'm not neurotypical either, but not in an autistic sense. I'm from a family with REALLY unusual brain features, which is a main reason why I parked my DNA at Google. When knowledge abourt what DNA does gets more advanced and ethics shift, they're going to look into the effects of gene variant combinations, and I expect they can have use of it.

Imagine running through the pages of a book with your thumb, letting the pages run through. In his younger years my father could read the esence of a book that way, and could be told a line and he'd follow up with the lines after it and on which page it was.

He could leaf through a science handbook in a day and have all the facts on board.

He designed a yacht A to Z, he welded the plates together, furnished it starting with bare planks, and sailed off to a sunny country where he now retires. Thats not as easy as the oneliner suggests.

When I first signed up here I was only posting in PE, sober for the most part.

A few months went by and I found out about The Pub. And along with the pub, came The Drinking Thread.
I basically built a social circle around that thread, and all of us in there started drinking pretty heavily just about every day and night in a video chat room.
I started to associate posting on the Shroomery with drinking, and wouldn't post unless I was a least a bit tipsy.

It was fucked up. I was fucked up all the time. And if you just look at my post graph, you can clearly see at what points in recent history I was posting here while drunk.



I quit back in October of 2015.
Although my graph is going to spike back up as I've come back over the last two months posting like a madman.
Gonna be the first sober spike in that graph and I couldn't be prouder.
