I have seen cakes do just fine in a freaking plastic bin made for holding cereal on a wire rack from some grill or something.
Air exchange for a little tiny bit of mush doesn't need to be much at all.. as long as there is oxygen.

I'll let him know. I think he wants to stuff like 9 1/4 pint cakes in the bitch, so like an inch, inch and a half of room in between each.
