Repeal of Prohibition of all Applicable Substances * 2
    #25544670 - 10/17/18 01:10 PM (5 years, 3 months ago)

Yes, we've reached this point.

We must apply the same "sort" of methods that were used by the "alcohol supporters" during the prohibition era, after amendment 18.

What I mean is, we've been robbed of a freedom of privacy. Now I don't know the formally correct term but this is what I'm at thus far.

For whatever reason, American's have been confused on what Freedom is, and this proves some of that. I am proceeding to request that cannabis, along with all other substances, be regulated in the terms of alcohol. Why? because alcohol and tobacco are exempt from controlled substances, and the controlled substances is a infraction on a private freedom of possession. If one is not causing chaos or danger to the public, and it 's taxed+regulated by the government, than anything should be allowed in ones privacy or possession, as far as substances and staying within government regulations [don't drink and drive, don't drink in public, must be 18 years or older to smoke tobacco] These are "types" of regulations that would fit everything categorized as a substance.

Say no to the prohibition of possession

I can't get on board with that.

Some things, yes, but heroin and pill heads are freaks.

They nod out, can't work, rob people. I met a functioning meth head once, but I have never met a functioning heroin addict.

I think usually its the opposite. All the tweakers I know sit around and smoke ice all day and set people up to get robbed. Most of the heroin addicts I know work every week day.

Back before I fucked my life up so much heroin was what helped me work my ass off at work as long as I didnt do too much before work. They absolutely loved me at my job because I went above and beyond.

P.S. I completely agree with OP

Yeah I think it should all be legal for sure. I think there should be rules about doing things like that in front of children or while in public, but I definitely think every substance should be kegal to posses and partake in.

Every substance should be available at a "drug store" in a pure "safer" form.

Take the billions we save by not locking people in cages and build a solid educational program for the youth and fund recovery treatment for the addicted.

People thought the world would end if weed was legal... nothing changed.

Anyone right now can spend 15 minutes at a psychiatrist and walk out with a pocket full of amphetamines and benzos to abuse. Most people don't do that. Most people will continue to go about their life, not using meth and heroin.

Fentanyl is perfectly engineered for death. It's exponentially stronger then heroin, lasts for a fraction of the duration, and has worse withdrawals. This leads to a "fiending" not seen with heroin, where they NEED more just a couple hours later. The result means shooting up something much stronger, far more often. Overdose is nearly inevitable.

There is no getting fentanyl off the streets. The only way to stop the epidemic and the overdoses is legalization. It's ending up in everything from coke to benzos to even LSD blotter.

The time for legalization is overdue. The fear surrounding it is unjustified, as can be seen in any country that has areas where drugs are legal.

Exactly, and I'm finding the most rational route of steering society towards that.

That being:

Filing a lawsuit just like others have in the past, against the DEA and United States of America, for the infringement on our 1st and 5th amendments. But I will not make the mistake of false research.

We must claim (using political terms of course in the court of law) :

That the fact we joined a treaty (nixon and congress at the time) was an "unconstitutional decision" because at that moment we could no longer petition our government for a possible concern. Since the decision rests upon someone outside of the "United States Government"

It's someone in the UN but yeah, fun research. Can't find much and I think it's step 1
Completely plausible

So someone should have the freedom to own a semiautomatic rifle, which can level a crowd of people, but not have the freedom to ingest something that will merely temporarily alter their own consciousness?

Strange world.

How can we formulate a way of informing everyone and the government that we've been deprived of "property" or "something"

Like, how can one put together a concern? That is not able to be ignored of course
