Not if they wont colonize: these jars aren't even half way there... if you wanna give it a shot, I'd shake them to thoroughly distribute the colonized portions, and see if they recover: I'm betting they won't... whether the fruits infect or not will depend on several factors including the severity of the infection, genetics/health of the culture, and conditions... I typically eat with my eyes, and these mushrooms are no different for me: if they're visually appealing, they're probably good... if the sub is known to be bacterial, tea is probably best anyways... if there are obvious blotches on the fruit, I'd not even make tea with them personally

Either way, I'd start something fresh

Unfortunate these more than likely won't make it. I'll give it another attempt. Open to techniques I should look into for better results.  I guess I'll see if they keep colonizing. Otherwise the other jars that haven't pinned yet should I isolate them from the sick ones as of now?? And won't shaking the jars bruise the mycelium?
It's disappointing it's ending up like this lol but not too surprised with everything I've read about this whole process :p there's so much to learn and do!

The misunderstanding was in what op was colonizing. Cakes from syringe very likely wouldn't happen in ten days, especially considering two weeks of consolidation is ideal after they're fully colonized.  I think my fastest cake from syringe was like 17 days (?) I haven't done a cake in years so that's questionable. Grain I can have done in 10 days tho. And if you're talkin LC it's almost too fast lol

What kinda Tek should I look into?

Nah man white doesn't mean it's always good. Almost every mold we know of starts off white like trich, aspergillus, fusarium, etc. Also bacteria will change the morphology of white myc. Never just assume because it's white its clean.

Op you have a spot of what I/RR has in the past called stroma, which is pretty fuckin rare. It's nothing I'd worry about. If your uncolonized jar pins actual pins before it fully colonizes, just wash off the uncolonized shit and birth it. As nube said you can grow from a bacterial sub no probs. Once it molds out you toss.

Here's some pics of stroma in a jar for people interested.

I knew this was going to be process before going into it, reading and watching as much as I could but nothing beats first hand lol.  Once again I want to thank everyone for their input. I wasn't expecting this much at all.

Thank you for solving that mystery I've had one other person call it a node. I was going to toss it today until I go on here because it hasn't changed in size or color really since yesterday.  I plan on posting all of my cultures later today just to see what people think.  As of now it seems like I should birth 3 of them but I would like to wait to see if maybe they keep colonizing because the one is but has a large pin.

When I started I was paranoid of cobweb because it kinda looks the same to my untrained eye but found out quickly what it would have been like if it was cobweb

Here's what I have starting with the jars that aren't pinning I have about 2 pictures of each jar the last 7 pictures are of the 3 that are pinning before full colonization

They uploaded out of order but 4 of them aren't pinning yet and the 3 are. Should I birth the 2 that are pinning and leave the stoma or birth all 3 and leave the other for now?

No need for the gloves... "sterility" really only important when generating culture, and your jars are filtered... 1st pic third row looks like mold next to the pin... most (if not all) look too wet/ bacterial... if you're going to give them a shot, I'd birth them now, remove the uncolonized portions, and get some FAE going quick... :2cents:

Someone else was say the same thing. All of them? or just pinning ones and the "stoma"?? How long do I dunk 12-24hr?

There hasn't been any significant colonization with the jar with the stoma and the growth has gotten larger. There's a pin growing on the back side of the jar as well
