Steam sterilizing works, I need to have a pc almost for cosmetic reasons.

Looks like you're talking about some kind of diy steamer not on the stove in a pot though.
60 bags at once is better than about 4 in my large pot.

I have some whole corn mixed in brfs I havent innoced yet.

Hmm... Doesn't craigslist have water heaters for free often?  Mayyyybe that could be an insulated Stainless steel steamer just waiting to be used? It's already threaded at the bottom for water in/out(be creative), and also threaded for a standard heating element if you go electric VS gas/oil.

Cut  off the top, manufacture a lid or be lazy and use the top you whacked off, a 2 dollar wooden false bottom to keep the bags elevated and you're done. I could see this being under $$100USD

I'm hoping that the concept will let you make creations of your own, while still meeting the basic requirements. I want to see someone build a bon fire under a 500 gallon drum, I want YOU guys to manifest ideas of your own. The last thing I want is for you guys to limit yourselves to MY creativity.

If you really wanted to build something it wouldn't be hard to find some kind of prototype like the drums the other poster posted or even some cooking device, break down parts you can duplicate and then make one.

60 bags at a time would be nice but IDK if I want to diy metal stuff until I have a cnc.

Aha WTF do you need a CNC for a steamer build? I have 2 CNC routers, and a metal lathe, covered in dust as I'm too busy with this Crusade.

That would depend on what needs to be done to accomplish the build. Whether it be a lid a handle, a unit for the heater to sit on that attaches to the metal box or barrel, doesn't matter. It will be professional and not something you want to throw out due to being ghetto, more than likely work better too.

My only concern with a hot water heater would be loading and unloading the bags. I know my arms wouldn't reach the ones in the bottom, even with a step ladder.

I see your point, just trying to say don't let it be a limiting factor

what about the 35-60 gallon ones? You could always do a taller false bottom to accommodate for stubby arms? I'll keep brain storming I don't want arm length to be an issue

Ceiling mounted pulleys and a tall, multi-shelf rack for the bags.

I was basically saying build it from scratch with a cnc. Buying some kind of heating unit about the only thing you buy and maybe the metal container that will do the steaming.

You could make a basket kind of like what's in a deep fryer out of cattle fence and then use a block and tackle to raise it.

My hot water heater is almost as tall as I am so...

It's a great idea!

Hmmm... if you could lay it on its side and have some kind of rack the slides in and out...

Have you guys seen the steaming shed Drake89 built for his edible farm?!?!
Loads the bags on rolling shelves, rolls full shelves into an insulated shed, fills it with steam for 24 hrs...
