I would keep manure in the mix if you have it at your disposal, can even use some mea with it, the more complex it is the better, there may be an extent to this but probably not.

I would be having it in my mixes as I'm dealing with multiple types of mushrooms, and the complex media should be suitable for all superiorly so to a simple mea i would think.

So far this has proven true and it just sounds right to me so I've been adapting other things to it.

I've seen phenomonal results with both standard MEA, and coir only substrate mix for cubes  :shrug:

You can catch phenomenal fish without a fishing pole using only fishing line, I've caught panfish this way without hooks even... relying on them to swallow tied up bait before trying to bring them in... there may be superiority in using the fishing pole though.

Not if each additional piece of equipment represents another chance at failure, and ultimately you're catching the same fish. :shrug: I'm a minimalist and like to keep it simpler/safer I suppose
