Myco Daddy’s Grow Method

What’s up everybody! Feel free to leave any questions or comments you have, I will try my best to answer them. My methods are simple, agar to grain, grain to cvg, cvg in monotubs. I have had very good success. Here are what my plates look like now, I’m about to have some tubs finish and then I can start showing off some flushes.

Mush, would you call that rizo or tomentose that which is crawling on the grain?

The jar was very Rhizo but it got slowed down a little bit when the temps dropped. Most of my jars look like that before I shake them, this one I let go a little too long.

I wasn't referring to the state of myc health but more that we are constantly told that rizo happens on nutrient poor media and that it's not synonymous with nutrient rich stuff like grains. (Except for presence of contams) The more I Stareat rizo growth on grain the more I feel like a fake scientist
It's just that it seems so 'writte in stone' that rizo is on nutrient poor stuff and tomentose is on nutrient rich stuff. But I see a bit of both on both most of the time

That only really applies to agar. I've seen plenty of clean rhizo growth in jars.

Rhizo growth in jars is super common. Just because oats are high in nutrients doesn't mean that the myc can't grow aggressively, and you usually see it on the leading edge of growth before a shake.

Here is the tub I showed previously that was pinning, this was a multispore culture so still has some work to be done. The strain is Blue Meanie.

Don't fire up your hood to harvest. That's just putting age on your filter for no reason.

The hood is off, this is just my worktable. I don't cover my hood when it's not in use though some people do.

good isolation, I love the homogeneity expressed here.

Thanks bud, I feel like it still has some work to do. I want a fuller canopy as well as larger fruits.
