Why so small and blue?!

These mushrooms matured pretty small, but there getting very blue just touching them. There just a bit bigger then my thumbs but I also have small hands.

The blue is bruising from touching them, that's the active ingredient it's a good thing. There could be a lotsa reasons for them being small. Most times tho second and third flushes get bigger shrooms. Is it from a spore syringe? How are you growing them?

I also have a tub showing small fruits, though they haven't shown gills yet, they arn't getting very big in the time since they've pinned. My suspicions for my problem, and thus maybe yours.. compare notes as it were..., not enough moisture, not enough fae(though from research thats usually long skinny ones..), not very thick sub, bad genes. either way fruit is fruit eh? my plan if they stay small is to tea most of it and snack on the rest in one good night...

Lol it was a grow bag, I bought it online with the rye and compost all in the same bag. It had plenty of moisture (if not too much) but probably bad fae, I poked holes in the bag twords the end of fruiting. The strain is South Africa Transkei.
