What to do next
    #25540017 - 10/15/18 05:39 PM (6 years, 3 months ago)

Brf Jars noccd up 9/26,

what to do with these two that looked contaminated
Also my other jars haven’t shown any growth, too early to call it ?
Note the smallest jar has no hold for ge so there’s that. I just wanted to mess around with a jar I found in the house. What’s the best salvage method?

Level of detail is low, are these straight PF Tek jars? What is the white granular looking substance in pic 1? Pic 2 looks like ice cream, which is bacterial...Have you got a verm layer at the top? Putting a hole in the lid now will likely result in contaminating the jar

Those are bad pics but they all look contaminated in my opinion. I would either try to get better pics so we can be 100% sure or toss them all and try again.

Was able to get some pics of the two jars in question the rest I believe need more time but these two I’m unsure if it is to early to feed them to Mother Nature or not? If so any methods using minimal supplies?

Pic 1-6 are all infected, red is Mold I'd suspect...empty and sterilise the jars.

Pics-7-12 don't look too bad at the moment, apart from not having any holes in the lid..do you have a verm layer on those?

If you've got an outside bed, and your temps are 65+ then by all means bury them and see what appears, you might get some fruits

They cant stall if they haven't even started growing yet.

If it has been 30 days and no growth then you did something wrong.
