It doesn't matter what the trait is. Eugenics is a product of fascism. You can have a totalian rule of what is ok to allow to live genetically. Or you can't. There's a huge black and white area, the gray area is you making an argument to ONLY kill one group. I'm willing to guess that there's a lot of people who have the same feelings about killing ONLY a different specific genetic group of people that are not sociopathic. And they probably have amazing reasons why, just like you do.


Tldr; either it's cool to have genocide or it's not. Pick one.

I have a few reasons why those with genetic traits for gluten and peanut allergies should be killed. But that's not a fair reason why, is it?
That would directly give the human race a huge problem removed.  Oh and everyone with hiv or AIDS. Also human race improvement on an evolutionary scale. Disagree with those two.  I mean this is about what is best for the population and the future of humanity, right?

How do I identify and keep these people out of my life? My need to help the people around me makes me a magnet for sociopaths and in many ways its shaped who I am as I was used over and over in different  ways untill I started cutting people off from my life until I was left with nothing but my wife and son

I should add, if you only have your wife and son left after doing that, perhaps you should reevaluate yourself and what expectations you have of the people around you.  It's possible to have friends, even with nutters, if you learn to understand and accept both their good quality AND their flaws and mitigate accordingly. 


People are inherently selfish.  It's in our nature as creatures on this planet to be so.  If you think you are NOT then you are wrong and lying to yourself.  Try not to be so judgemental of the people around you, be happy, find friends that make you happy and are themselves.

Someone has hurt you, obviously. I'm not going to  degrade you for venting about it. I have my fair share of bitching  about how much people suck. Let's get down to the brass tax op... Who hurt you and what did they do that made you feel bad enough about your self to jump to killing.

Talk it out, man... You see the point i made. You are intelligent enough to get that bad feeling out and make a resolution to this occurrence in your life while realizing that it's able to get past with out killing people.

I'm sorry for the biting sarcasm in my talking. I'm a real asshole when it comes to sociopolitical issues.

Now we got the uglyness out of your head, and you can get to the root of your problem.  It's going to be okay dude. You are worth more than the people that tell you that you aren't.

unfortunately like I said this really isolated me and makes it hard to make friends what with all the trust issues and everything.

I often feel I cant trust anyone. This makes it hard to put the love out there In the world like I so desperately want to.

thank you for this reply man seriously. Im tired and sad and I might be willing to open up more tomorrow. I went through a revolving door of awful people pretending to be my friends for my entire adult life and even before that I have had trust issues I assume from being raised by a single mother whos relationships all ended via cheating. The person that comes to mind when you talk about who hurt me... it was a childhood friend who turned out to be a very very awful person.

Gotta get past those trust issues man.  Gotta learn to accept that people have flaws too, and learn how to mitigate yourself from the ones who can hurt you vs the ones that just have some silly traits.  Be good to other people and find the ones that are good back.  If you go into every friendship with those trust issues glaring out from the back of your skull you're only going to end up seeing the bad and making it the worst, even when it doesn't have to be.

Listen up young Windex warrior and I will tell you a tale.

I have met an individual who is constantly on  a cross, metaphorically, because of the upbringing they had being the product of a highschool love fling that ended in a pregnancy. Resulting in a divided home life, from the mother cheating on the father and starting a chain  of events that led my protagonist down a path of neglect, abuse, therapy, drugs, teen pregnancy and countless relationships that were unhealthy. All of the things that I have said happened a long time ago. But that's the thing about childhood fucketry... .. it's not going to go away. Peorid.


You can psychoanalytic the shit out of your life and find out what is in your past, on with the ways you are going to deal with the people that are in your life NOW. it can be helpful to know what makes you do the patterns of your social life.  But here's the thing. You have a family now, right? That means you have a defacto friend group. The people that love you are the only ones that have any real value. What friends come over and see you because they just want to see you? Which friends would help you move? Or come to you when you get hurt and wind up in the hospital?

It's nice to have a social life and a peer group that you are able to trust. You are an adult and I will tell you that the majority of the people that were your friends are going to be gone. you seem to be experiencing a lot of that. Everyone is looking out for number one. Those who give too much trust are the prey. The rest are preditors . They will use you as long as you are filling up a need. No amount of understanding your self is going to stop that.

You can't avoid users. That is like most of the population. Even the ones that are true friends are benefiting from you in some way. You need to balance out the line that says"I am not okay with this". You said that you are too helpful and get burned for doing stuff for others.

Well that's your problem. You have yet to make it a line that says I can't help you with that even if I feel like it's the right thing to do. It's not going to be a good feeling to say no.  You are going to keep getting used if you don't. No good deed goes unpunished. serious. I have done so much for so many people that are not in my life anymore. Opened myself up and got kicked in the face. I'm still an optimist and I have been cursed with caring about people.

Caring is weakness. I have it. Or maybe I choose to have it. I'm not sure. Point is that I have to deny myself and not give a fuck about alot of people that I encounter.  You need equivalent exchange for a long standing friendship to exist. You get what you give. If the scale tips, the whole thing is going to get someone hurt. Probably you.

Symbotic like an Amanita muscaria and an oak tree.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that I was speaking out of anger when I first made the thread and I just want to keep people with ASPD out of my life. I cant just cut EVERYONE off out of fear that they might be on the spectrum. I want a way to identify these people swiftly as to save both parties time as I wouldnt want them as friends and they should find someone else to be their next mark.
