He left the community because people kept bashing on him for different reasons then threatening the Shroomery itself. Theres a thread showing how it went down.

Yeah sounds like he was banned... I just opened his book for the first time in 15 years and found some awesome old art of smokey the bear being quieted by a real bear, and a two ouzels spinning around rocks with bugs that I put in there back then. I love shit like that.

He got banned back in 07 for being a complete unstable nutcase and threatening the site and its users.
