2 layers of tape won't be detrimental? Should I do A layer inside and a layer outside to have a region of gas in between? To prevent moisture transfer? Or would that slow gas exchange too much?

I would keep it on the outside you want to avoid it getting wet from shaking grain jars. Two layers right on the top works for me.

Tried to find it and couldn't in its polyfill form. I guess I'm going to go buy a pillow and destroy it. Does anyone have a good source for Europe? I know I didn't do enough digging, that's always the case. Besides inoculation bags and polyfill I was able to procure everything that matters. I didn't buy petriseal tape because I found it ridiculously expensive also but that's not a big deal.
What matters is that I have a really good pressure cooker.

Good thing i keep the lid on during the spawn run
Bob those are gorgeous. How are they compared to cubes? I guess its a cold species. Seems kinda neat to do a fridge grow. Im not too familiar with non-direct psilocybe species (cubes, azures, cyans etc). Is that basically Laughing Gym?

Ive always gone with SFDs. Yes you need to order them and whatever but theyre really good filters. I learned that to reuse them safely, just keep them in the same lid. I might be wrong but i cant imagine polyfill offering all That much protection from very tiny microorganisms

Damn, "Faht" really is accurate, awesome cake. Its funny how the weight of the APEs seem to be the only thing keeping the cake from tipping over. I still havent worked with APE. But i have with PE and PEU

How is a fridge grow done? They are beautiful. Is it just lighting and air movement while the doors closed that's needed? I have a small fridge I was gonna chuck.

Lots of fungi grow in cold environments, it snowed a few days ago and yesterday I found some wild gymnopilus fruit coming out of a stump when I went to visit me ranch, it was pretty cool, gunna eat em on Friday. Ergot (the spore pods) are grown in a fridge, or at minimum triggered by it but I just leave it in there.
I'm a little upset it's taking 15+ days for my tubs to fruit. Still no pins or knots, it really looks like another week or two until, the sad part is it's almost at 80F constantly. Just need to keep inhaling until the whole chamber is clear then keep on waiting.

Can cotton balls even filter stuff? I have no access to polyfill. I'm going to be doing the first A2G inoculation tomorrow that should work due to me realizing all the mistakes I've been doing and want to do everything perfectly. So far it seems that my A2A petri dishes are all clean ever since I started using still air box.
I am hopeful for the future =D

I'm such a whiny little bitch, I just checked on my grow (bit of a drive from where I live) and check out what popped up last night. There wasn't even any knots. I'm a little uneasy of the pre-mature pin action but it's just casing so I'm sure I can get 1 good flush out before things go to Shit.

Was Harvesting some Cannabis Early this morning and found some more cubes growing around the base of a few plants!

I put spent coir around the base 4 months ago as mulch and they have been pumping out chunky outdoor cubes all season
