Blender selection for BRF cake slurry

Need recommendations on which blenders work with mason jars. Also can you use a immersion type handheld blender to make a slurry ? Just PC the blade and shaft portion ?

Whoa post pictures whenever you get around to making your slurries. Ive always wondered how effective slurries are vs grain shaking from start to spawn.

Get an Oster. Their blender attachments fit onto regular mouth jars. So just sterilize the water in the jar with the attachment on and put it on the blender base.

Oster blebder is $20 new and separate blade assemblies cost $8. Its worth it to completely bond the metal ring and blade into one piece.

Now you're talking.  They have the display models at Walmart glued down.  I couldn't get a good look at the blade connector

FWIW, I bought some spare blender blades and rings from Goodman's and they don't come attached like the actual blender. I tried gluing them together and could not get them perfectly even to create a seal and they all wound up leaking. I'm not very handy with shit, so maybe that's why? But worth noting.

Nah, just regular RTV. The issue was I didn't get the the ring 100% level with the metal so it won't create a perfect seal. :undecided: Oh well, a friend on here sent me some attachments glued to the rings, so I'm all good.
