I was so happy at first, just going a bit crazy and  a bit loud but having a lot of fun.

But all these people telling me to tone it down turned the trip into a "I am an ass" kind of feeling... probably well deserved so its fine. I can do some work in that area too.

Talking to my wife got me into a better mood.

But I think 7g is a bit too much. Next time I'll stay in the 5g area...

Listening to Mozart piano concerto 21. Never dissapoints.

Vaped some cannabinoids, took 2mg etizolam.

These relaxing moments post trip and before I fall asleep are always among the highlights of tripping.

I wasn't implying that you're an ass, just that you were bumping your own thread over and over, which is kinda annoying to my self, not speaking for others.

I was saying to get off internet because I know from experience, having electronics going on around you on that high of a dose can really hype you up and makes me feel like I've lost my mind bouncing from one thing to another, when I find it best to just lay down in a dark room and close my eyes and try and forget about my body and see what mushrooms have to show me, and not internet.

I'm on this fucker all day, last thing I want to do is be on it while high on mushroom.

Yes going on the forum while tripping does distract me a lot. Probably should not do it... but I get distracted with anything while tripping.

And I never have a plan when I trip, and even when I have one I just forget about it and end up doing who knows what :lol: The trip rarely follows any pre established plan and much less in high doses.

I normally switch from topic to topic in a bit of a caotic way. But most of the time with a good feeling and mood. Sometimes some negative feelings can appear, but those are fine too, its all part if tripping.

. maybe it would be a good idea to take a few weeks off to level off your tolerance and find a time when you can be undisturbed and comfortable and try a 5g or whatever you feel comfortable with dose in near darkness and silence if possible, music can calm and guide you but anything with words will distract you from your Jaguar or whatever it is that your distracting yourself from.

Man, I don't know how you did it. I feel like I will barf if I look at a screen while tripping. It's a sure sign to me that I need to avoid screen time when I am trying to connect with myself, those with me, and nature if I'm outside.

Whatever works though, right? Enjoy the ride!

I think I'll try to stay away from the internet im my next trip. It does distract me a lot... I'll finally listen to everyone, but I'm stubborn lol.

I might even go in with some plan or goal for a change :wink:

I dont like the silent darkness tripping though. I like music and staying active, maybe lay down for a while for not three hours! To me getting up, dancing and walking around is the best antidote against any sort of bad trip, it always gets me in good mood.

Focussing too much on your body or internal feelings is always dangerous, with high doses at least. Once bad physical or mental feelings take hold of you when tripping they are hard to shake off. Not impossible, but really needs some serious distracting to get rid of them. So I normally choose to focus my energy and attention outwards. I dont trip with any sort of healing/changing goal so that works for me. And a fun trip lifts my mood for days or weeks.

Have you any musical instruments that you can play?

I was thinking about getting a tank drum or hand pan to mess around with while high, but I haven't found a tank drum and hand pans are like $1,000 or so. . .

I totally agree with you, silent darkness is a little daunting, but it allows me to sort of examine how my lifes going at that time and work on any blocks or challenges or issues I may be going through. Eventually when I'm coming down, I too want to be active and doing something. Usually watch a movie or something, browse the internet like yourself, and feel kinda shifty for doing it, like it's something that I do in my sober life so why am I doing this shit while I could be having a mystical experience, or at least a chance for one, doing something else that's out of my ordinary daily habits.

How does your wife feel about you tripping?

Do you ever talk to her when coming down, or at any point throughout your experiences?

Does she eat mushrooms too?

My wife tried mushrooms once and it was a disaster. I pushed her a little and it was a mistake. Was also unlucky, it took almost 3h until it hit her and by that time I had fallen asleep... I had not taken anything to be her sitter but when I realized she was having a hard time it was too late. She took only 2.5g but she saw her belly ripped open and thought she was dying... I ended up giving her some benzos.

In my trips normally I listen to music and dance during the comeup, rock or something like that. Then I talk to my wife non-stop during the peak, I become very chatty, sometimes very goofy also. I verbalize my stream if consciousness and I like it. I can talk about whatever weird topic. Things I remember from my childhood or something I just something I read the day before... It helps me stay grounded because I nomally take 5 or 6g. And then she goes to bed and I listen to classical music in the headphones during the comedown and I get more toughtful and reflexive. I love that calm time also. That has been my routine, I normally have a blast of fun and I love it.

My wife kind of tolerates my tripping but is not a fan at all... sometimes I say interesting stuff and she likes it. Sometimes I talk about things she does not like and she doesnt :shrug: There is not much in it for her and I just tell her I appreciate she lets me do it without too much complaining... and I like her to be there.

I have had only had two "bad trips" if I include this saturday when for one hour or two I had negative emotions. But was not really a bad trip. I had a lot of fun at first and ended in good mood also. The other bad trip I had was on 6.5g and was much heavier, but I totally deserved it. It did me good. It was a day after I had a massive 8g trip that inflated my ego to massive proportions so I had to bring it down :wink: Have to stay a little balanced if you trip very often and have too much fun! It can't be all fun, laughs and self-love :shrug:

About musical instruments... we do have a piano at home, my wife and kids play it.

I only play the guitar hero on the ps4 :lol: but never tried it tripping. It could be fun actually, but it is very tiring!
